The J.F. Hurley Family YMCA in Salisbury partnered with Novant Health to provide COVID-19 vaccinations at this Rowan-Cabarrus YMCA branch initially through May and extended this through August. Novant Health began administering vaccines at this location January 20 in keeping with the North Carolina state vaccine distribution plan. Novant Health is working to vaccinate as many people as supply allows.
“We are honored to collaborate with Novant Health for the well-being of our community,” said Richard Reinholz, Executive Director of the J.F Hurley Family YMCA. “This effort will offer Rowan community members the opportunity to start healing and the hope to end this pandemic.”
“Partnerships are a beautiful thing when the primary goal is to serve our community and not our own best interests,” Reinholz continued. "Offering vaccines is such a critical service for our community; it’s one of the ways we are able to live our commitment to social responsibility.”
