Advocating for our YMCA mission at the local, state and national level is vital to our work. Thanks to Rep. Kathy Manning for visiting the YMCA of Greensboro in September. YMCA CEO Rhonda Anderson and team members thanked Congresswoman Manning for supporting legislation that provided funding for child care and nutrition. 

The Y also asked for her support of the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) for Q4 of this year and reiterated the importance of this funding for Ys and other nonprofits, and asked for an additional $450B for child care and preschool.
