Our Ys across the state have been incorporating mental health resources and support as part of the Mental Health Community Care Model via the Alliance's statewide funding to expand or launch teen programming with an intentional focus on mental health. 

The NC Alliance of YMCAs and YMCA of the Triangle hosted a Health Innovations Roundtable November 4, 2024, at the Southeast Raleigh YMCA, bringing together Dr.

North Carolina’s YMCAs have banded together to support our YMCAs in the western part of the state in the wake of Hurricane Helene so that they can, in turn, support their devastated communities and aid recovery efforts.

When disaster strikes, the YMCA is uniquely positioned to mobilize quickly, thanks to its deep roots in local communities. As North Carolina faces the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene, communities are grappling with displaced families, damaged homes and critical infrastructure in need of repair.  The Y is here to help and serve in a variety of ways.
